How are the trees shipped?

We can help you arrange trucking through a local trucking company using 48' drop deck trailers. You may contact Bill Deacy directly on his cell phone (917-741-1320) concerning freight, forklift unloading, and even placing trees in already dug holes. We will also load customer owned trucks furnishing payment for trees loaded.

Can I buy one tree?

Yes and your price for the tree or trees is still wholesale. We sincerely try to minimize freight costs by combining 2 or more small orders (less than full load orders) on the same trailer when customers' delivery schedules are flexible.

When can I get trees?

In general, we dig trees year round. We are growers and we only dig trees when they are ordered. Winter digging of our nursery stock can be controlled by field and weather conditions. We have dug and shipped our trees throughout many winters.

How are your trees graded?

We use a strict grading system to ensure transparency and quality. Grades range from Premium #1 to Grade #3. To see a full description of each grade, as well as visual representations, please visit our “our trees” page

Where are trees shipped?

We ship anywhere from Virginia to Maine to Illinois.

Do you ship year round?

At Merwine Farms, we dig trees 'on order' all twelve months of the year.
